Dr. Juan Luo

Resident Doctor

Dr. Juan Luo, the Secretary of the China Chest Wall Surgery Alliance, has accumulated over 5 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of various chest wall disorders. As of now, she has participated in the treatment of nearly 2,000 patients with chest wall disorders, including over 800 chest wall deformity surgeries.

Dr. Luo specializes in the comprehensive management of chest wall pathologies, including deformities, infections, defects, tumors and

functional-aesthetic reconstruction. She actively participates in surgical procedures as well as postoperative monitoring and management. Given her extensive clinical experience, Dr. Luo excels in surgical techniques such as chest wall keloid scar excision, skin grafting, and flap transplantation. For instance, when addressing wound defects following chest wall tumor resection surgeries, she employs techniques such as skin grafting or localized flap transplantation instead of primary closure, thereby reducing wound dehiscence risks and optimizing recovery outcomes. Her approach integrates meticulous surgical techniques with proactive postoperative care to ensure both functional and cosmetic restoration.
