With over a decade of experience in clinical practice, scientific research, and education in chest wall surgery, Dr. Long has made significant contributions, particularly in the field of chylous diseases. He has refined techniques for
chemical pleurodesis and pericardial window, successfully treating over 200 complex cases and achieving a 100% cure rate for congenital chylothorax. Remarkably, no subsequent complications have been observed in children with congenital chylothorax after treatment, and their physical and intellectual development proceeds normally.
Dr. Long pioneered the concept of "promoting the reconstruction and recanalization of chest wall lymphatic circulation" after extensive research into the structure and function of lymphatic system.
